Wow. Lots of time past. A few
litters. Lots of events. Prattmandu Itsa Marbleous Feeling
was shown by Valerie Ackley and sisters to a Regional win. Kuma
passed away in New Hampshire, still breaking our hearts. We have a
lovely new home in the Hill Country of Texas. Bobbi Jean has
retired from teaching to help her mom care for her dad and the
ranch. Spencer is the Best TSM S&B has (yeah his wife wrote
that, but it's true). We have cut back on our breeding program and
have only two queens: Akashi and Snooks (Itsie's daughter),
And our king stud muffin is still Prattmandu Simply Marbleous. We
are planning only two or three litters a year. Quality over
quantity. I hope to make more frequent entries here. It used
to be Spencer's job, as CCO, but I guess it's mine now!

Photos are up! Check out the

mark. Look for a repeat breeding of this pair. More photos

She loved it as much as we do! Here's a quick shot of Kuma by
Helmi.

Prattmandu Kuma competed at his first
adult show and championed!
November 26-28, 2004
Prattmandu Kuma competed at the All
Points cat show in Houston. He finaled in one ring and took third
best kitten. ...yes, he's still a kitten! He will move to the
adult competition after the Corpus Christi Show in December.

The mirrored ceiling kept distracting the
cats and judges alike... Kuma is so shiny and glittered...
Notice Fate Mays' sleeve reflecting on Kuma's back! He's like
that!
November 6-7, 2004
Prattmandu Kuma competed at the Evangeline
Cat Fancier's - Golden Triangle show this weekend.
He brought home a ribbon for 4th Best Shorthair Kitten and 4th Best Kitten
in two rings. Kuma is a great looking kitten and we can't wait until
he reaches maturity - to compete in the adult cat classes! Yet another
fabulous brown-marbled Akashi & Marbleous baby to shake up the spotted
Bengals in the show circuit!
October 18, 2004
Akashi
received the most wonderful package in the mailbox today! A brown
envelope from TICA with a certificate and ribbon proclaiming her
"THIRD BEST BENGAL" in the TICA South Central Region for
2004! Wow! We had received her "BEST BROWN MARBLE
BENGAL" certificate a couple of months ago, but this new one came
as a complete surprise!!! What a treat to have a marbled Bengal
place so high against the gorgeous spotted cats in this region!
September 4, 2004
Akashi
and Marbleous
had a huge litter of marbled babies today! There are 8 of them -
wow! Sexes haven't been determined yet, but they're all very cute:)
More mews soon!
August 15, 2004
Sweetie
gave birth to 5 spotted babies today! They're all very pretty and
already showing glitter and great patterns in varying sizes. Looks
like three boys and two girls - but we can't be sure yet. Eiffel
is the father of this litter. We'll keep you posted on their
progress and post pictures soon!
August 1, 2004
It's official! The boys' stud
pens/runs are complete! The guys are lounging, rolling around,
climbing and enjoying the fruits of many long weeks/months of our
labor:) We're glad they like them!
July 10-11, 2004
While in Wichita Falls, we reserved
Suwannee How We Love Ya of Prattmandu from Larry Snyder of Suwannee
Bengals for delivery in mid-September. Love Bug as we call her is
a full sister of SGC Suwannee Fudge Ripple. She's just a little
"squeaker" of a girl - seal mink marble like Kami - but she
will grow up to take Kami's place someday!
July 10-11, 2004
Texas Maine Coon Connection cat show in
Wichita Falls, TX. Marbleous and Wolfie competed. Wolfie got
two finals with a 3rd best cat and a 6th Best Cat ribbon. The marbled kittens got their
pictures taken by Helmi
- some of them are posted on our Now
Available page!
It's a long drive to Wichita Falls, but it always
a fun cat show :)
June 12-13, 2004
Marbleous
and Wolfie competed at the Ft. Worth Feline
Fancier's show. Both boys took home 2 finals each. Wolfie
became a Champion, and they are on their way to Grand Champion. See
pictures of the show here.

Helmi
has released some of Marbleous' pictures, so we've made them available
for viewing on the Studs Page - here.
May 30, 2004
Kami and Eiffel
have five new babies: 3 seal lynx points, 1 seal mink marble and 1 brown
marbled tabby. All that snow is lovely to see here in June!
:)
Simply
Marbleous lounged politely, waiting for the Finals in Joe Edward's
ring at the TMC Lake Jackson Show on May 30. Bobbi Jean was
pleased that this final would make him a champion so she'd never have to
bathe him again. Dana Zauf commented, "Watch him get Best Cat, and
then you'll have to keep showing him!" We were tickled
when he made the top 5 and thrilled when he made the top
two. One spectator awarded Bobbi Jean "Best Victory
Dance" when Joe handed her the Best Cat ribbon, and her happy feet
got going. Congrats to our new Champion on our first Best Cat
rosette! Guess we'll have to keep showing him!

good mix of males and females. Some carry the darker marbling like
Akashi's and some carry Marbleous' light, tri-colored marbling.
Six marbled babies nursing on their marbled mama is quite a sight!
Look for pictures soon!

competition as an "Alter". Both Rubah and Wolf got their
pictures taken by Helmi
while they were at the show - be looking for them on their respective
pages soon!

Great News!
We just received word that Brown Sugar
(now Malu) arrived safely in Copenhagen, Denmark today! She
settled right in when she arrived and played with the children for
hours. Diana, her new mom, flew to Houston two days ago and flew
back with Malu yesterday. We were thrilled to meet Diana in person after
two months of many emails! Many thanks to Diana and Greg for giving our
baby such a great home - in Denmark, no less!

Prattmandu! He is out of Bridlewood's
Beautiful Memories and IW
SGC Katznjamr Inkosi of ABC Bengals. Thank you to Cassie Hale
for parting with her big, wonderful "purr-bucket!" We're
hoping that he will pass his wonderful jet-black spots, strong boning and
ultra-thick tail on to his kittens. Not to mention his loving
personality! Pictures are now
on the Studs page!

The Heart of Texas Cat Show held in Waco,
TX. Ichiba and
Simply
Marbleous competed in their first cat shows as adults!
Marbleous did well, but repeatedly found himself in second place to
Thriller (Bridlewood's A
License to Thrill - who got his Double Grand Championship at this
show). Marbleous also got a photo sitting with Helmi,
so expect some new pictures of him on the studs page in a month or
two. Look for the announcement here!

The "United We Stand" Cat Show
held by the Texas Maine Coonfederacy in
Lake Jackson, TX. We entered Akashi and Simply
Marbleous. Akashi took best Bengal in one ring to final and got
fourth best short-haired cat in the final. Marbleous also took
best Bengal kitten in a ring to final and got fourth best short-haired
kitten in his final. Way to go! Akashi only needs three more
finals to gain her Grand Champion status! This was Marbleous's
last show as a kitten, and we're excited about starting his adult show
career!
